The Human Resource Policy Division (HRPD) is one of the two core divisions of the Public Services Commission. HRPD has the following three sub-divisions:
- Appointments, Discipline & Promotions (ADP) Dept.
- Compensation, Benefits & Conditions of Service (CBCS) Dept.
- Petitions, Appeal & Grievances (PAG) Dept.
Its main responsibilities are:
- Prepare plans and annual budget of the (HRPD) and ensure their implementation to achieve the objectives of the Commission in the area of Human Resource Policy.
- Formulate and periodically review policy guidelines on Appointments, Promotions and Discipline for all Public Service environments;
- Conduct workshops, seminars, and conferences/meetings of stakeholders to collect and collate views for policy reviews on Appointments, Promotions and Discipline;
- Formulate and periodically review policy guidelines on Compensation, Benefits and Conditions of Service;
- Conduct surveys/research on economy-wide trends and changes in Compensation (salaries and wages), Benefits and Conditions of Service;
- Establish a system for the compilation, collation and dissemination of information on Public Service Compensation, Benefits and Conditions of Service; and
- Conduct workshops, seminars, conferences and meetings of stakeholders to collect and collate views for the review of policy guidelines on Compensation, Benefits and Conditions of Service.
